The second last CD I bought.

I went into Hastings (CD, DVD, Book shop) and looked for a CD. For some reason I never feel like buying the CD's I thought about before and I always wanna buy something spontanous. So I went in, checked ACDC, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy and so forth... Finally I decided that it shouldn't be heavy Metal or somehing like this, so I sat down with this Rolling stone (500 greatest albums of all time) book and looked through it. When I saw this CD, I felt good, because the name of the band kicks ass, the cover kicks ass and the review kicked ass!

I am very pleased with the CD. It's quiete different and interesting music. I can listen to it before school or at night, it's very good to chill and think. The lyrics are good and I like the singer Lou Reed (that's right or?). My favourite songs are Sunday morning, I'm waiting for my man (or whatever it's called), all tomorrows parties and heroin. Heroin is really interesting because it really talks about the heroin addiction and the heroin trips in a different way than you usally see it. Great CD, so I guess everybody might be happy??!!

Tomorrow

We're going to a 5 day trip to Austin tomorrow.

I didn't know what to upload, so I uploaded the cover of one of my favourite cd's I bought here. It's the Stooges- Fun house. I bought it like 3 or 4 months ago and it is truly great. That's one of the few Albums who got really something special in it; some kind of energy which makes you feel like that you just want to freak out destroy your room and lay down on the floor in the chaos. My favourite song is probably 1970 and Dirt. 1970 is such a great energy song (I feel alright) and Dirt, what am I supposed to say, listen to it a few times and you will probably see. Really really great Cd from a really really great musician!

Sunday session

Me and Dylan both crooked grinded that rail. It took us both some time, but Dylan got in before me (we both did it in a little line). Then I landed two unclean ones in a row. Finfally I landed a clean one, but chase made a mistake and we didn't have it on cam so I did another one which was not so clean but allright. Cool day... Skated Downtown after that what was allright, but I was too tired to do something good.

Now it's 6:30am and I have one hour to sleep. Fuck this day. good night.

Contest (1)

Contest day!

Saturday was Contest day at the park. Thanks to Johnny, the skateshop owner, who was probably the main organizer of that whole thing. You could sign up for beginners, medium or advanced. They charged you 5 bucks. It was a lot of fun although the crowd really sucked. People were mostly just sitting around and watching and didn't cheer; that's definitely a really important part of a contest in my eyes. I still tried to encourage some people and had a good time. I signed up for advanced and got 4th. I'm kinda proud because the first three places were "reserved"; Nick, Kyle and Aaron are all in the primal skateshop team and are just on another level; each of their warm up runs is already better than my best run. My run was still good, I just bailed one trick and was kinda stocked that I landed a bs flip first try down the bank where the guy in the hippie shirt does a hardflip. In the following 8 minute jam session were some tricks landed, but most people just chilled. I mean, who wants to land a sick trick when no judge (there were just 2) is watching? You know, everybody does sick stuff without cameras or judges, but at a contest you want the judges to watch it! So in the end Kyle got first, Aaron second and Nick third. After that, we went to my school and skated there (dylan, me, chase). Chase landed his first kickflip down the 5. I did a perfect bs heelflip. Dylan did a 180 over a 6stair handrail with cracks in the run up, that was really insane. According to this we skated a little 3 stair handrail and Dylan killed it again, pictures coming soon...

It's already 5:33 am, I didn't get any sleep so far. I feel really weird and cannot imagine going to school in just 3 hours and getting up in 2. I never stayed up that long for no reason, and there is really no reason tonight. I read about 20 pages in my world history book but I was to tired to pay attention. This day is already wasted, after a really good weekend full of good skateboarding, chilln, food, friends and a very nice phonecall ;).

The other picture is nothing special, it's just a spot, but I like it very much. I hate people talking about how artsy this and that is how creative they are what great individuals they are what special clothing they wear and so forth..... I don't have an idea about those things, I just like this picture, I don't know why. Dylan doesn't like it. He is still happy for me because I like it. I hope you think the same way.

It's 3 am. I don't wanna sleep. I started my homework. I have to read 20 pages. I am on page 2 so far. I will upload a fuckin' lot, this night. Check the next entry to see how my night went. Great weekend. World seems alright.

That's the latest book I read.

I read already 3 Bukowski Novels before this one and this one was really good, too.

It's very funny to read about his life because it's unusal and he is a special person. I agree and disagree a lot with him. The book was really funny, sometimes a bit sad and weird, but always interesting and fun to read. In this novel he talks about his life when he finally made money with his poetry, started to have different woman all the time (okay, before it was like that too, but now the woman rate increased), probably drank more than ever and was still a very negative and original person. Some people may claim that every second word is cunt ass or whore, but that's the way it is... My book review is not very interesting and I probably just do it because I'm proud that I read a book...
