fs boardslide

I'm very sorry, that there are no real sick tricks but just every day basic tricks... The only trick I learned recently on the six foot (there is a 4 foot, a 2 foot, a 6 foot and a 7 foot transition) was the pivot to fakie which scared me in the beginning because the tranny is pretty high in comparison to what I used to skate (okay, 6 foot are maybe like 1,80 meters and that's not that high when you look at a video where they're skating 14 foots), but I'm still proud of every new trick. The fs:boardslide was at the 4 foot. I landed one this day, but not exactly this one, still doesn't matter, or? At the moment we're trying to make a video, on sunday we skated such a sick spot... It was a ditch with a bank to natural transition, pretty rough.. At first we cleaned the spot so we could drop off a big bank, get a push, right the small one and than have enough speed for the transition... I hope I can upload the footage soon, maybe just one trick...

I hope you are all happy and get along with your life. I still have an important announcement: I'm gonna take a picture of every CD I buy from now on and tell you something about it, even if you don't give a fuck! You can't change it and can't do anything against it!

Church

Some pictures from my old church... Now I don't go to church anymore which makes every sunday a bit better, sorry, but it's the truth... Churches here are a lot different than in Germany, in good and in bad ways... They have a better service in general, what means better, it's just more fun.. The youth groups are more fun, they play better music (some churches have several Instruments including guitars etc.) and seem to have more fun...

I think Abilene has the highest church rate in Amercia.... At every corner you can see a church, and every church preaches something different... A lot of churches here support fundamentalism, which means that the Bible should be taken literally... So they think gay people are wrong and that it is a sin to be gay. Some people think that Catholics are going to hell (don't ask me why) others preach that dancing is not right (or several kinds of dancing). Sex before marriage is seen as bad, too... All in all, most churches are very conservative.. Religion is really big over here, while Germany and the other European countries are more secular. A good thing is, that you can choose your church here and have more oppurtunities, on the other side, what sense does it make, if there are 20 different churches and every church has it's own god and is 100% sure that they are right? This whole thing changed my mind towards religion a lot. When I came here I was definetly more open to religions and especially Christianity, now I'm really critical.. It just doesn't fit in my picture, that people say evolution etc. and that the monkeys are ancestors of us ist wrong and god created the world in 6 days and whatever.. Many people are just really anti science and anti improvement.. I still thank Rosemary (old host mom) for the time and that I could get a better picture of the church and the way some people see God.. I don't know if I will ever become religious, at the moment it doesn't even matter, I just wanna skate, have fun, hang out with my friends, do the stuff I have to do, come back to Germany and be together with my girlfriend ( I love you baby) again and just see what's happening...

Dylan bs lipslide

This is a bs:lipslide by Dylan. I know, that maybe 2 or 3 people are reading this, because nobody really cares what I am doing. Then my dad is going to write a comment. I pretty much do this blog to read it in 1 year and be happy that I did it.

Today I went to school with my favourite and only pair of pants which have a big hole right at the back pocket on my ass, so you could see my boxers (the hole was quiet big). In my 5th period (spanish) my teacher suddendly started laughing her ass off and made me go to the other spanish teachers to show her the hole. Then we went together to the principals office (while she was still laughing) and they decided I have to call my host parents to get me new pants. I called my host dad john who even bought me some new pants. Everybody was really cool and laughed about it, even the principals. My new pants were pretty gay and much too wide so I had to spend the rest of my day looking like an idiot. After school Dylan and me got me some Levis 501, and now I'm working on wearing them until they look the way they're supposed to look. In order to this we went skating and I didn't learn one single trick. That's it.

Today at Primal Skateshop... little Funbox with a very short table, probably the shortest I skated so far... The Hubbas are still a lot of fun... Today I realized, that I like Concete much more than wood, wood is too slittery... I am still looking forward to skate my ramp at home since I got more tranny skills... Yesterday, there was a contest at Primal, I sucked really bad... In my 2 one minutes runs, I landed 2 tricks beside the basic just to turn around tricks... A fs5:0 revert on the hubba and a fs boardslide fs out in the quater.... The rest of the time I slammed... In the Jam session I skated vor 2 minutes and was pissed, so I left... Hmm, today was a good skate day and an allright day in general, I am about to do my homework and chill a bit...
